I took a regular track on a one-to-one basis in both the Sun Certified Java Associates (SCJA) and Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) training at Koenig Solutions, New Delhi in January 2008.
Communication prior to coming here was excellent via emails, from customizing the courses and exam scheduling.

At the beginning of our course, we remember thinking the course was just too hard for us and that we would never be able to complete it. However, today, we are MCPD in Web, Windows and Enterprise. We owe this success to our instructor. He is a well-organized and very knowledgeable instructor who knows the subject thoroughly.

I have been a COBOL programmer for a number of years. Shocked??? I know, I know.....the language is still alive and the developers are not extinct. The work was starting to get tedious and repetetive and so I started looking at other options to put a spark back into my career.
As usual I went on the net, not knowing what it is I was looking for

I took a fast track Oracle OCA DBA training at Koenig Solutions, India, in May 2007.
Before my departure, we exchanged quite some email communications allowing me to adequately prepare myself for the trip. Once arrived in Delhi, India, everything went very smoothly and as expected.

"Hi my name is Venessa Turner and I work as a Senior IT technician at an adult education college in England. I attended the Koenig Training centre in Goa during March/April 2007. My trip to India was an incredible journey both emotionally and academically. It came about after completing an online Computer Based Training course with another company which I found to be useful but not comprehensive enough to pass any exams".

"Hi, my name is Mati. I am originally from Spain but moved to London 3 years ago. I started to work as a web developer for Reuters last year but felt I had to upgrade and get new skills. In England I changed career moving into IT as my background in Spain though in Internet was always in editorial roles. I needed to take some training but working full time and living in a hectic city as London never didn't find the time".

"Hello, My name is Kelhi and I'm going to tell you about my Koenig experience from a female perspective...
Just Quickly as a background, I am not new to IT, infact I have been working (contracting) in London as a SQL Server DBA for about 8 years now, so the Koenig Bootcamp wasn't about a change of career for me, it was about gaining my MCDBA, which I have always wanted to obtain".

"Hi my name is Julie. I was asked to write a few words for all you ladies, who are considering taking a course with Koenig. As you may have noticed all the featured students are men! This is probably because for most of the time you will be the only woman attending a course. I have been a mainframe programmer for 20 years and wanted to re-train to something a bit more ‘up-to-date' ".

"I have had a wonderful stay and am sad that it is drawing to a close already. Even though I've been here 40 days, the time has flown. I am grateful for the whole experience. As an already seasoned IT professional, with my current knowledge no longer able to help me to find a decent job, I realized I needed to get back on target and learn some new skills. In my internet search for a school to learn skills".
